There won’t be many Pittsburgh Pirates receiving honors for their 2012 season, but one player in particular has a chance to garner some hardware.

Pirates’ center fielder Andrew McCutchen has been named as one of the three gold glove finalists in center field by the Rawlings Sporting Good Company as they announced their 2012 Gold Glove Award Finalists.

Cutch was the only Pirates player nominated at any position and joins Cincinnati’s Drew Stubbs and Atlanta’s Michael Bourn as the finalists in center field.

McCutchen finished the 2012 season with a .997 fielding percentage, committing just one error. Stubbs posted a .982 mark with five errors, Bourn, .995 with two errors.

ESPN2 will air the 2012 Rawlings Gold Glove Award Announcement Show on Tuesday, October 30, 2012, at 9pm EST.
