City of Champions co-chiefs Matt Shetler and Matt Gajtka return with a Tuesday edition of their weekly Three Rivers, One Show podcast, part of the Fansided Radio Network.

The Matts heap praise on the Steelers, who pulled off a remarkable upset at Baltimore with third-string quarterback Charlie Batch at the controls. Besides Batch, what aspects of Pittsburgh’s game most directly led to the potentially galvanizing victory? What does the result do for the Steelers – and the Ravens – going forward into the postseason?

The second half of the show is devoted to analysis of the Pirates’ offseason strategy, which is put under the microscope at this week’s MLB winter meetings in Nashville. What kind of value can the team be expected to add, considering its limited resources and conservative track record?

Shetler and Gajtka close the program with an NHL lockout update, as proceedings seem to be building to a crescendo. The Matts also offer up their weekly Final Thoughts. (Listen to archived podcasts here!)
