It has been a disappointing season for the 7-8 Pittsburgh Steelers and that disappointment was shown in the Pro Bowl voting as well as only two Steelers were named to the initial 2013 Pro Bowl roster.

On Wednesday it was announced that tight end Heath Miller and offensive lineman Maurkice Pouncey were named to the team.

For Pouncey, it is the third straight Pro Bowl honor. He started 14-of-15 games this season, including one at left guard and led the fan voting at the center position, where the Florida product will start for the AFC.

It will be Miller’s second career Pro Bowl, although he won’t be able to play in the game after tearing his ACL last Sunday against the Bengals. Miller had a fantastic season through 15 games, finishing with a team-high 71 receptions and set career-high marks in yardage (816) and touchdowns (eight).

More Steelers could potentially be added as players drop out, but there aren’t many worthy. Only Ryan Clark and Lawrence Timmons had seasons that would likely garner some attention as potential injury replacements.

The Pro Bowl will be played from Honolulu, Hawaii on January 27.
