Steelers postmortem, Pirates moves and NHL news on this week's podcast

Matt Shetler and Matt Gajtka return for the first Three Rivers, One Show of 2013. The topics du jour include an initial look at tough decisions facing the Steelers, from free agents to coaching adjustments to an honest assessment of this season’s 8-8 result.

Shetler and Gajtka also play point-counterpoint regarding the Pirates’ recent trades and signings, most notably the addition of Francisco Liriano and the departure of Joel Hanrahan. What other moves might be in the near future for GM Neal Huntington and his staff?

Gajtka also updates the NHL lockout negotiations, which appear to have entered the final stage. What is still up for debate as the deadline to play hockey looms just a couple of weeks away?

Finally, both Matts deliver their final thoughts, starting the new year with strong opinion on sports matters both national and local.
