After a week off, City of Champions co-editors Matt Shetler and Matt Gajtka are back to take a look at the Pittsburgh sports scene on Three Rivers, One Show.

The Penguins won their first game without Evgeni Malkin, but how will they continue to adjust to the defending league MVP’s absence over the next few games? Matt and Matt also look at the recent performances of Beau Bennett, Brandon Sutter, Tyler Kennedy and Marc-Andre Fleury, plus what Mark Eaton can bring to the club in his second Pittsburgh stint.

Also, it’s a significant spring training for Pirates pitchers Jeff Locke, Kyle McPherson and James McDonald, all of whom are off to strong starts in the Grapefruit League. Who has the most at stake over the next six weeks?

Finally, Pitt football released its first ACC schedule this week. How can the move from the Big East affect recruiting and the general excitement around the team?

Matt and Matt close the show with their final thoughts, featuring the upcoming World Baseball Classic and the Steelers’ salary-cap situation.
