Video: Pirates’ reliever Jason Grilli awesome speech during Pearl Jam concert

The Pittsburgh Pirates may have not made the NLCS, but that hasn’t stopped closer Jason Grilli from still being passionate about the team and the fans that support it.
Grilli, who loves the city of Pittsburgh and has a close bond with Pirates’ fans, joined the band Pearl Jam on stage Friday night at the CONSOL Energy Center and delivered an awesome and very passionate speech to the crowd.
We know Grilli loves Pearl Jam as he comes out of the bullpen to their song “Whipping.”
They handed Grilli a microphone and he delivered a great speech that will give you goose bumps and then stuck around as the band started to play “Whipping” and Grilli roamed around the stage rocking out and playing air guitar.

As a note, there is some explicit language so we apologize for that, but I had to give Pirates fans a look at the passionate Grilli. Listening to him talk already has me counting down the days until pitchers and catchers report to Bradenton.
