The Pittsburgh Steelers had a busy Tuesday as they added four more players that will be in camp with them when the 2014 season begins.

Cornerback Devin Smith, linebacker Dan Molls, running back Miguel Maysonet, and wide receiver Lanear Sampson were all inked to reserve/future contracts by the team.

Smith should be a familiar name to Steelers fans as he spent most of training camp with the Steelers. He is out of Wisconsin and spent the 2013 season on both the Steelers and Miami Dolphins’ practice squads.

Molls was an undrafted rookie from Toledo cut by the Chargers at the end of camp last year.

Maysonet is a guy I had my eye on late in the draft if the Steelers didn’t draft a running back early on. He looked like a sleeper coming out of Stony Brook and did some things to impress at the NFL Combine. He ended up spending the year on the practice squad of four different teams.

Sampson came out of Baylor and went undrafted before signing with the Indianapolis Colts before spending most of the season on the Cowboys’ practice squad.

These moves come just four days after the Steelers signed punter Brad Wing and long snapper Bryce Davis to similar contracts.
