Today is the biggest holiday of the year for college football fans: National Signing Day 2014.

As it pertains to the Pitt Panthers and Paul Chryst, it is just another opportunity to add more talent to what has been a couple of decent recruiting classes to date.

While the 2014 class isn’t great, it is not bad. ESPN ranks it as the ninth-best class in the ACC, which is a bit disappointing, and the Panthers have landed only a pair of ESPN’s top 300 recruits, but there should be more than a handful of guys in here that can contribute immediately.
