There are plenty of needs that Steelers’ general manager Kevin Colbert and his staff must address by the time the three day event comes to a close. Those needs include, but aren’t limited to: secondary help, a wide receiver, a tight end, defensive line depth, outside linebacker depth and more.

Where the Steelers target in the first round is still a mystery as common opinion would think that a corner or wide receiver is likely, but a trade down in the first round is actually a smart bet to not only get a player they are targeting, but to acquire more picks as well.

With that being said, it promises to be an exciting three days for Colbert and his staff and Steelers fans everywhere.

The Steelers have a total of nine selections, including their own selection in each of the Draft’s seven rounds. Three of the Steelers nine selections are compensatory picks, following the third, fifth and sixth rounds
