More from Pittsburgh Steelers

Scott Brown of ESPN.com reported that wide receiver Martavis Bryant got the job done in a red zone drill at a recent practice and also managed to pull in a scoring catch against coverage from Ike Taylor and Troy Polamalu. Hopefully, tonight he can turn it loose against Buffalo.

You can add Rebecca Rollett of Behind The Steel Curtain on SBNation.com as someone who likes what she sees from third-round pick Dri Archer. Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger pump-faked toward Archer in practice, and froze the defense, leading to an easy touchdown elsewhere. Archer is brining the “it factor” to the offense.

Buffalo comes into tonight’s contest 1-1 on the preseason. They lost to their cross state rival, the New York Giants 17-13 at the Hall of Fame game, and pulled out a close one on the road last week 20-18 over the Carolina Panthers.

For head coach Doug Marrone and the Bills: first-round pick Sammy Watkins is the real deal at wide receiver. Now, they need to who is going to start opposite him. It has been reported that Robert Woods has had his reps cut with the first team in practice, opening the door for either Mike Williams or Chris Hogan to show what they can do.

On the defensive side, the Steelers offensive line will be tested as defensive ends Mario Williams and Marcell Dareus along with nose tackle Kyle Williams combined for 31 sacks, helping the Bills to lead the AFC in 2013. All three made the Pro Bowl together last season.
