After the first four weeks of the NFL season, it is time to take a look at the AFC North’s leading wide receivers, and rank who is getting it done for their respective teams.

Keep in mind the Cincinnati Bengals and the Cleveland Browns have played one fewer game as they both had their bye weeks this past weekend.

The Pittsburgh Steelers have 98 total receptions for 1,134 yards in four games and are eighth in the league averaging 283.5 receiving yards per game. The Baltimore Ravens have put up 97 catches for 1,055 yards in their quartet of contests, and check in at No. 12, averaging 263.8 receiving yards per game.

Meanwhile, the Cincinnati Bengals have 58 receptions for 787 receiving yards in their three games played and are 13th, averaging 262.3 receiving yards per contest. Last, but not least are the Cleveland Browns, who are 19th among their 32 NFL brothers, with 61 catches for 716 yards, averaging 238.7 receiving yards per game.

Now let’s grab another cup of coffee and examine who is among the leading pass catchers at the top of the AFC North.

1) Pittsburgh Steelers: Antonio Brown has been on fire as he has hauled in 29 of Ben Roethlisberger‘s passes for 427 yards and five touchdowns.

The Central Michigan product has became the first player in NFL history to have five catches and 50 yards in 20 consecutive games. Brown broke the mark that was held by Jets and Redskins wide receiver Laveraneus Coles on a challenged catch in a tied game with 10:21 left in the third quarter.

Checking the rest of the roster, Heath Miller has been on the receiving end of 21 passes for 197 yards and one touchdown. The 6-foot-5, 256-pound tight end had a career-high 10 catches against Tampa Bay. Coming in a tie for third place with 19 receptions each for the Black and Gold are Le’Veon Bell for 192 yards and Markus Wheaton for 227 yards.

2) Baltimore Ravens: When Joe Flacco puts the ball up, it has usually been Steve Smith on the other end of the pass. He has 25 catches for 429 yards and three touchdowns.

The 5-foot-9, 195-pound wide receiver torched his former team, the Carolina Panthers for seven catches, 139 yards and two touchdowns last week.

Tight end Dennis Pitta and running back Justin Forsett each have 16 receptions for the Ravens. Pitta has 125 yards while Forsett has 63 yards in four contests. Baltimore’s other tight end, Owen Daniels checks in with 14 catches for 113 yards and two touchdowns.

3) Cleveland Browns: It has been Andrew Hawkins who has stepped up and filled in for Josh Gordon in the early going of this season. He has 21 catches for 244 yards. His longest receptions has been for 29 yards from Brian Hoyer.

The 5-foot-7, 180-pound wide receiver has at least six receptions in every game this season recorded on the score sheet.

Miles Austin is second on the squad with 14 catches for 115 yards and two touchdowns while Taylor Gabriel has put up six receptions for 99 yards.

4) Cincinnati Bengals: So far, it is a three-way tie for who is the leading receiver along the Ohio River in Cincy. Mohamed Sanu, A.J. Green, and Giovani Bernard each have 12 receptions as quarterback Andy Dalton has spread the wealth in the passing attack.

Green leads the way with 233 yards and one touchdown while Sanu has contributed 164 yards and one touchdown for the Bengals. Bernard, who plays as the H-back, has put up 148 yards.

Next up is wide receiver Brandon Tate, who has hauled in six passes for 74 yards for the stripe-wearing brigade.
