Robert Morris Colonials Football: 2015 National Signing Day Results

For college football fans, it is about the promise of a better season on the gridiron. The first Wednesday in February is National Signing Day which is the first date that high school seniors can sign a letter of intent to play in college.

Coach John Banaszak of Robert Morris University announced the addition of 17 student-athletes to the 2015 fall roster. Nine are listed on offense and eight are listed on defense.The group will be coming in as true freshmen.
Banaszak, who is in his second season in charge of the Colonials, said on the university’s web site, “We’re very excited that these 17 student-athletes have committed to Robert Morris. It’s a group that we believe has a lot of depth and one with some young men that are capable of filling in some holes on our team.”
The 2015 campaign marks the 21st season of Colonial football. They have been members of the Northeast Conference since 1996, and have claimed six NEC championships. RMU concluded the 2014 season 1-10 overall, and 1-5 in the league.

The Blue and White begins four weeks of spring practice on Monday, March 16. The annual spring game is tentatively set for Saturday, April 18th at Joe Walton Stadium.
