Who are the greatest head coaches in Pittsburgh sports history?

When it comes to sports in Pittsburgh, you can say fans have been spoiled in this twon with some of the greatest teams in the professional and college ranks.  Fans have also been spoiled with some of the greatest coaches in their respective sport.

This list pays to tribute to the best coaches to lead the Steelers, Pirates, Penguins, Pitt Football and Pitt basketball.   Some choices are pretty obvious; others may cause you to throw your computer across the room.   Just remember, each coach deserves to be on this list even if you may curse the ground they walk on.

As with all of our lists and all-time rosters, the best coach from each of these teams (except the Steelers) is a never ending debate with no end in sight.  If you think I totally whiffed or overlooked some of my selections, feedback is encouraged.  Either comment below or on our Twitter page.
