The four remaining teams in the NCAA men’s hockey tournament field have converged on Pittsburgh for the annual Frozen Four, and

the Gospel of Hockey will get you ready to watch.

Matt Gajtka and Larry Snyder welcome Pittsburgh Post-Gazette sportswriter Jenn Menendez to the program to preview the event, which starts Thursday evening at Consol Energy Center. Menendez, who has covered Robert Morris hockey in addition to the Frozen Four beat, lends her insight on the players to watch and which team has the best shot at bringing home its first Division I national championship.

Later in the program, Matt and Larry look at the benefits of the NHL’s shortened season and Sidney Crosby’s MVP chances, despite missing recent games to injury. The guys wrap the show with their Local Hockey Report, focusing on the region’s junior hockey programs – the Youngstown Phantoms and Johnstown Tomahawks.
