Pittsburgh Steelers invite 41 players to rookie mini-camp

The Pittsburgh Steelers began their first activities as a team this season when their rookie mini-camp began on Friday.

The Steelers have a very large turnout for this weekends event as their website is reporting that 41 players have been invited.

All nine draft picks are there, along with nine first-year players, 15 undrafted free agents who signed with the team and eight more rookies who are in town for a tryout.

The nine first-year players include: G Justin Cheadle, T Joe Long, NT Loni Fangupo, CB Isaiah Green, TE Jamie McCoy, OLB Marshall McFadden, WRs Kashif Moore and Derek Moye, and PK Daniel Hrapmann.

The eight players in for a weekend tryout include: Purdue QB Caleb Terbush, West Virginia RB Ryan Clarke, West Virginia LB Terence Garvin, Pitt CB Jared Holley, Youngstown State TE Will Shaw, Virginia Tech DT Antoine Hopkins, UTEP S DeShawm Grayson, and Pitt S Andrew Taglianetti.
