What can the Penguins take from their difficult first-round series against the New York Islanders? What unique challenges to this year’s edition of the Senators present, from goalie Craig Anderson out? What to the Pens need to do to dispatch Ottawa and continue their championship push?
Later in the show, Matt and Matt shift gears to Pirates baseball, with the Bucs in the midst of a home series against the nemesis Milwaukee Brewers. Are the Pirates trending upward or downward at this point? How big was the introduction of lefty starter Francisco Liriano over the weekend? How important is it for the Bucs to figure out the Brewers?
Finally, the Matts deliver their Final Thoughts. This week, Gajtka looks at a lawsuit facing the NHL and Shetler has a few words for the officials of the MLB, NHL and NBA.
