Three Rivers, One Show talks Penguins-Bruins, Pirates, Riverhounds and more
By Matt Shetler
After a two-week break, Matt Shetler made his return to Three Rivers, One Show to re-join regular co-host Matt Gajtka and Larry Snyder.
The trio dove into a plethora of topics, but started the show by looking at a pivotal Game 3 for the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Did Dan Bylsma make the right decision by tabbing Tomas Vokoun the starter? In addition, the group takes a look at what went wrong at home for Games 1 and 2. They also looked at what changes are ahead if the Penguins don’t reach the Stanley Cup Final and if Bylsma’s seat should be hot or not.
Next it’s time for Pittsburgh Pirates talk, specifically addressing why the bats have cooled off. Plus, with Jeanmar Gomez and Wandy Rodriguez suffering injuries during the last week, will we see Gerrit Cole in Pittsburgh anytime soon?
Later, Snyder chimes in with a report on the Pittsburgh Riverhounds and we give our final thoughts, including Gajtka’s shot at the sensationalistic Boston media.
