When the 2-6 Pittsburgh Steelers line up to take on the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, they will likely get a shot of good news on the offensive line when 2012 first-round pick guard David DeCastro is likely to return to the lineup.

DeCastro missed last week’s game against the New England Patriots with an ankle injury, but prior to that had been playing very well.

In addition to DeCastro looking healthy, tackle Kelvin Beachum (knee) fully practiced on Friday so he looks to be ready to go for Sunday.

That’s the good news on the offensive line, but there could be some bad news as well.

Offensive tackles Mike Adams (ribs) and Marcus Gilbert (ankle) are both listed as questionable as neither could practice fully on Friday. If Gilbert can’t go, expect Guy Whimper to get the start against Buffalo.

In other Steelers injury news, two players who suffered concussions last week, cornerback Ike Taylor and linebacker Vince Williams, both practiced on Friday as well and should be fine for Sunday.

Finally, tight end Heath Miller, center Fernando Velasco (thigh), wide receiver Markus Wheaton (finger) and defensive end Cam Heyward (knee) are all listed as probable after fully participating in practice.
