The match-up: Eagles head coach Chip Kelly did not reveal much of his complex offense during the preseason and the Jaguars will certainly pay the price for that. Quarterback Nick Foles put together a fantastic 2013 season which included 27 touchdowns and two interceptions. The Jaguars signed former Steeler Ziggy Hood, running back Toby Gerhart and guard Zane Beadles from the AFC Champion Denver Broncos and are showing their fans that they are making a sincere effort to try and improve the team.

Why Jacksonville will win: I do like the Jaguars offensive line which is important since Chad Henne is an average to below average starting quarterback in this league. I wish the team would consider putting Blake Bortles in this season as he did have some good moments during the preseason. I also do believe that Toby Gerhart will succeed in Jacksonville.

Why the Eagles will win: LeSean McCoy has already set his goal for the season, he wants to run for 2,000 yards. In a pass happy league that is hard but when you open your season against a team with the fourth worst rushing defense in 2013, that certainly is a good start. That alone could be enough to beat this Jaguars team.

Final score: Eagles 34 Jaguars 14
