Pittsburgh Steelers Vs. Atlanta Falcons GameDay, TV/Radio, Odds, And Preview

The Pittsburgh Steelers (8-5-0) seek back-to-back victories on Sunday when they travel to the Peach State to take on the Atlanta Falcons (5-8-0).

This matchup marks the 16th time that these two teams have met during the regular season, and it is the ninth time they have gotten together in Atlanta where the Steelers hold a four game advantage. It is just the third time they have met on the gridiron in December.

According to ESPN Stats and Information, the last three meetings between these two teams each went to overtime to determine a winner. In fact, the last five contests were each decided by six or fewer points.

Last week, Mike Tomlin’s crew declawed the Bengals 42-21 in Cincinnati, while Atlanta lost on the road 43-37 to the Packers in Green Bay. The Black and Gold are 4-3 on the road while the Red, Black, and White are 3-3 at home this season.

In 13 contests, the Falcons have scored 328 points while giving up 342 to their opponents. Atlanta is last in the NFL against the pass and in total defense. They have gone 0-3 against the rest of the teams of the AFC North.

Injuries for the Falcons: Out – cornerback Robert Alford. Questionable – fullback Patrick DiMarco, wide receiver Julio Jones, and safety William Moore. Probable – guards Jon Asamoah and Justin Blalock, wide receiver Harry Douglas, defensive end Stansly Maponga, defensive tackle Paul Soliai, and wide receiver Roddy White.
