When it comes to weather prognostication, the good folks of the Keystone State turn to Punxsutawney Phil to find out if spring is around the corner. For gridiron fans, one place they turn for Super Bowl predictions is EA Sports and Madden Football.
Madden Super Bowl forecasts have a remarkable track record of correctly choosing the winners. The simulation accurately predicted eight of the past 11 winners. FanSided’s April McGee takes a look at the Madden prognosis here.

It should be noted that last season, Madden had the Denver Broncos receiving the Lombardi Trophy in virtual reality, while the Seattle Seahawks actually captured the championship 43-8. This week the game has selected Tom Brady and the New England Patriots 28-24 when the clock on the scoreboard winds down.

Pete Prisco and the gang of NFL experts at CBS Sports split 5-3 in their vote and agreed with Madden 2015 in opting for Bill Belichick and the Patriots to hoist their fourth trophy.
Katie Sharp polls the writers at SB Nation and by a close 4-3 margin, they also expect quarterback Russell Wilson and the Seahawks. to retain their NFL crown this Sunday.
