  • While mens hockey does not begin with a Field of 68 like basketball, it does allow 27 percent or 16 of 59 teams to advance into the championship tournament. Among this year’s selections, Boston College has made 34 appearances in the tournament with Boston University close behind at 33. Meanwhile, Yale has been involved just seven times.

The tournament is set that the winners of the Midwest and East regionals will meet in the Frozen Four. On the other side of the bracket, the victors of the West and Northeast regionals will come together in the other semifinal Thursday, April 9 at TD Garden in Boston, Mass. The championship game at TD Garden is Saturday, April 11 at 7:30 p.m. on ESPN.

The NCAA released the games times and television schedule Sunday for the contests that we will take in later this week. All times are Eastern Daylight Time. Live streaming of all of the games can be seen on WatchESPN.com.
