The Pittsburgh Pirates (12-14) will try to plunder some runs tonight as they take on the Cincinnati Reds (13-13) in the middle contest of their three-game series at PNC Park.

The Bucs placed outfielder Andrew Lambo on the disabled list Wednesday, and called up utility man Steve Lombardozzi from the Triple-A Indianapolis Indians to take his spot on the roster. The 26-year-old is second in the International League in batting average and has hit safely in 10 of his last 11 games.
The Pirates have been flashing some leather of late as their defense has turned 14 double plays in the last seven games after turning 14 in the first 19 contests.

Starting Pitchers: The Reds will send send 27-year-old Mike Leake (1-1) to the mound tonight. The 5-foot-10, 190-pound righthander is making his sixth start of the season. He has a career record of 54-33 with a 3.88 ERA. He defeated the Pirates 5-4 Wednesday, April 8 at the Great American Ballpark in Cincinnati.
Pittsburgh will counter with 24-year-old Gerrit Cole (4-0). The 6-foot-4, 230-pound righthander is 0-1 with a 4.50 ERA in three career starts against the Reds. He received a no-decision against Leake in the April 8th contest.
