It isn’t often that I feel compelled to give the Philadelphia Flyers credit, but I was impressed with their courage and open-mindedness in the hiring of former University of North Dakota coach Dave Hakstol.
The Penguins made a leap of faith of their own last year when they brought in Mike Johnston from juniors, but as I explain in this episode of City of Champions TV, they were one-upped by their cross-state rivals in the boldness category:
