If he would choose to attend Virginia Tech, he would gain probably the most influential experience he could gain under coach Frank Beamer. Beamer is a coach of great discipline, he along with his players know what he expects and that is greatness.

The Hokies are responsible for a good number of players currently playing in the NFL.
Such as, but not limited to: Kam Chancellor, Kyle Fuller, Brandon Flowers, and recent retiree, Jason Worilds. I am willing to bet each one attributes a portion of their success to the coaching of both Beamer and defensive coordinator Bud Foster. Two of the most dynamic duo’s you can find at any level.
So, if he is looking for the fast-track to the NFL and do it with production, Hamlin would be wise to become next in line in the rich tradition of Virginia Tech defensive studs.
