The scouting reports are in, and the Pittsburgh Pirates seek to find treasure this evening at the Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft. The three-day event concludes Wednesday, June 10.

Leading off this evening are the Arizona Diamondbacks with the first pick. The Pittsburgh Pirates’ first-round pick is at No. 19 and they have a Compensation Pick at No. 32 because the Toronto Blue Jays signed free agent Russell Martin. They have a Projected Pool of $7,392,588 to work with according to Jim Callis at MLB.com.

Last year, the Bucs selected shortstop Cole Tucker from Mountain Pointe High School in Ahwatukee, Arizona with the 24th pick of the first round. Here is how you and your fellow Pirates fans can check out all the action at the 2015 MLB Draft:

Chicago checks in with the ninth pick of the first round and the Cubs are projected to select righthander James Kapriellan from UCLA.

Just two slots down is Cincinnati at No. 11 and the Reds are expected to go after outfielder Andrew Benintendi from Arkansas.

Milwaukee is next up at No. 15 and BA sees the Brewers taking righthanded pitcher Jon Harris from Missouri State.

Neal Huntington and the Pirates are suppose to interested in lefthander Kolby Allard from San Clemente High School in California at No. 19. Baseball America thinks the Bucs will take another pitcher with the compensation pick at No. 32. They are forecasting Pittsburgh to select righthander Triston McKenzie from Royal Palm Beach High School in Florida.

St. Louis is choosing in the 23rd slot of the first round. The Cardinals are projected to prefer righthander Kyle Funkhouser from Louisville.
