Deals made at the MLB trade deadline tend to be overblown, but teams shouldn’t let that keep them from improving their teams, however incrementally.

Once again, the Pittsburgh Pirates find themselves in the position to add talent this year. They shouldn’t allow the Giants’ quiet deadline approach last year deter them from augmenting the roster.
