NFL: Harv Presents His Week Four Predictions

Last week, I did not fare so well in trying to pick NFL games. 8-6 overall. Ouch. Let’s see if week four in the NFL brings a better forecast!

    Carolina at Tampa Bay: Tell Cam Newton to ignore the refs and play ball. As much as some don’t like Jameis Winston for his personality and what he did in college, the kid can play. Bucs 20 Carolina 17.

    Philadelphia at Washington: Can the Eagles play off the big win over the Jets? The Redskins are surprising some. Upset special. Redskins 23 Philadelphia 21.

    Oakland at Chicago: Without Jay Cutler, the Bears aren’t as good. One player can make a team. Raiders are on the rise. Raiders 33 Chicago 27.

    Houston at Atlanta: Can Falcons stay unbeaten? Yes. Falcons 34 Texans 12.

    Kansas City at Cincinnati: Steelers, Browns, and Ravens fans will be rooting for the Chiefs. Those fan bases already are accustomed to the Bengals M.O. Win now lose in the post-season. Bengals 29 Chiefs 20.

    Cleveland at San Diego: Jacksonville and Cleveland on the road = LOSS. Chargers 40 Browns 21.

    Green Bay at San Francisco: Like the 49ers are going to right the ship against the Pack. NOT. Packers 36 49ers 10.

    St. Louis at Arizona: Cardinals fans are praying for a healthy 16-game season from Carson Palmer. Cardinals 33 Rams 13.

    Minnesota at Denver: Peyton Manning is due for a big game. This is the time. Broncos 37 Vikings 14.

    Dallas at New Orleans: Drew Brees may play. Even if he doesn’t the liking here is for the home team who has already lost the home opener and needs to save face. Saints 24 Cowboys 14.

    Detroit at Seattle: The week wraps up on Monday night in what will be a very noisy fan base in Seattle. Detroit is spinning towards a losing season. This game won’t help them get back on track. Seahawks 30 Lions 20.
