NFL: Week Ten Short Takes

facebooktwitterreddit

As week 10 of the NFL has already begun with Rex Ryan getting a bit of revenge against his former New York Jets with the Buffalo Bills winning Thursday 22-17,  this column will change up a bit. Moving forward each week, we will take a peek at where teams of the NFL stand heading into their next game instead of reviewing what took place the weekend before.

Arizona Cardinals: The first place Cards head into enemy territory against the Seahawks, and a loud stadium for one of the weekend’s best games. This should be good.

Atlanta Falcons: The bye week could not come at a better time for the “Dirty Birds” who are at 6-3 and are fading quickly.

Baltimore Ravens: The Ravens should get win #3 at home against the Jags.

Buffalo Bills: If you missed the game against the Jets you didn’t miss much. Boring game but the uniforms? Where were my sunglasses?

Carolina Panthers: Wow! No doubting the cats anymore. Good enough to to get to the Super Bowl? They are playing better than any other NFC team right now. Be careful in Tennessee however.

Chicago Bears: If they want to stay in the division race, a road win in St. Louis would help.

Cincinnati Bengals: The Houston Texans at home on Monday Night Football? Unless a let down happens, the winning continues.

More from Pittsburgh Steelers

Cleveland Browns: See my preview!

Dallas Cowboys: Will the losing streak continue in Tampa?

Denver Broncos: Huge divisional game at home. Peyton’s time to break the all-time passing yards record.

Detroit Lions: 2015’s big mess team of the year replacing San Francisco from 2014.

Green Bay Packers: Dropping off a bit but they will still be in the playoffs.

Houston Texans: A member of perhaps the league’s worst division with the first place team owning a 4-5 record, these Texans still half a shot at the title with three wins.

Indianapolis Colts: When all seemed lost they upended the Broncos. Now comes a by week to regroup.

Jacksonville Jaguars: With a big win in London, it seams perhaps they righted the ship and we’re headed in the right direction. Then they lost again. On Sunday, in Baltimore. Ouch.

Kansas City Chiefs: The season might be on the line in Denver.

Miami Dolphins: In Philly, they won’t be climbing out of the basement.

Minnesota Vikings: Surprise team of the NFC. Tough game in Oakland.

New England Patriots: Super Bowl rematch, should be fun to watch.

New Orleans Saints: Nearly as much a mess as Detroit.
