Pittsburgh Penguins Vs. Columbus Blue Jackets Preview And Prediction
By Larry Snyder
The Pittsburgh Penguins (13-8-0, 26 points) visit Nationwide Arena tonight as they skate against Metropolitan Division rival the Columbus Blue Jackets (9-14-0, 18 points).
John Tortorella’s squad won 2-1 on the road Wednesday against the Devils in New Jersey. Left-wing Matt Calvert and center William Karlsson each contributed a goal on Thanksgiving Eve.

“It was a team effort of sloppiness. We’re lucky we won,” Tortorella told Rob Mixer on the team’s website. The Jacks were out shot by the Devils 28-25.
Tonight will be the first meeting between center Brandon Dubinsky and Sidney Crosby since the two fought in a game last season. Dubinsky was scratched from the first match-up on Friday, Nov. 13 because of an upper-body injury.
Speaking of the Captain, Crosby seems to be getting his game going with a total of 10 points in his last 12 contests. Evgeni Malkin leads the National Hockey League with five game-winning goals here in the early going.
Jonathan Willis at Bleacher Report has the Blue Jackets rated 27th this week in his NHL Power Rankings. The Penguins dropped two spots this week and are at No. 14 in the rankings.
