Drafted first round in the 8th overall pick of the 1974 draft, Pierre Larouche was destined to be a great even from his rookie season, in which he received the Calder Memorial Trophy for his astounding 31 goals and 37 assists.
Larouche would go on to get traded in 1977, and if he would have ended up a franchise player for the Penguins, he would’ve broken a lot of records.
