Maybe the third time will be the charm as Pitt aims to defeat Coach K and his Duke Blue Devils.

The defending national champions have lost the freshman trio of center Jahlil Okafor, forward Justice Winslow, and point guard Tyus Jones to the NBA draft, but Coach K just reloads as this point.

Duke is currently 11-2, led by 6-foot-5 sophomore guard Grayson Allen’s 20.8 ppg, 6-foot-9 guard Brandon Ingram (15.7 ppg), and 6-foot-5 junior guard Matt Jones (14.8 ppg).  6-foot-9 senior forward Amile Jefferson is out indefinitely due to injury, but he averages 11.4 ppg and 10.3 rpg.  They lead the ACC, making nearly nine three-pointers a game.

I put this game at number 2 because Duke will likely improve throughout the season, and this game would be a huge NCAA resume booster for the Panthers.

To date, Duke has beaten VCU 79-71, Georgetown 86-84, and Indiana 94-74, while their losses were to No. 2 Kentucky 74-63 and Utah 77-75.

I highly recommend buying a ticket for this final home game of the year.
