DeAngelo Williams

Back up may not be the word or position to describe DeAngelo Williams. He stepped up big time last year in Bell’s absence, Steeler fans are happy to have a back up as talented as Williams. This will be his second season wearing the black and gold, his tenth overall in the NFL. He averaged nearly 5 yards a carry with 11 touchdowns and just over 900 yards in 2015. His carries will drop this year with Bell back in the mix.

Grade: B

Williams has power sprinkled with some speed.  He will be a solid goal line back and maybe even some third down work. When Bell needs a breather, it is nice to know that there is someone behind him that can carry the load for a drive with the offense not skipping a beat.
