The Pittsburgh Steelers need some help in the 2018 NFL Draft to make another deep postseason run. Here are three players they have to consider taking.

While the Pittsburgh Steelers had a very successful regular season, they ultimately fell short of their main goal: winning their seventh Lombardi Trophy. In order for them to get back to the promised land, I believe they need to hit a few home-runs in the 2018 NFL Draft. Thanks to a great class of prospects this year, the Steelers front-office will have a good amount of guys to choose from.

After finishing the regular season with an impressive 13-3 record, Pittsburgh currently holds the 28th spot in April’s draft. While that’s not an ideal spot for landing a top prospect, again, there should still be a plethora of impact players on-the-board late into the evening.

If you’re worried about the Steelers being in a bad draft spot this year, I would research the 2018 NFL Draft player rankings and let your anxiety fade away. This group of players have proven themselves at the collegiate level, and are ready to make a name for themselves in professional football.

Still, there are some positions where Pittsburgh needs to find better talent, specifically at the linebacker and safety spots. With Ryan Shazier still working through his lower-back injury from the Bengals game, no one know what his future looks like with the Steelers.

That being said, take a look at three players who can make an immediate impact for Pittsburgh in 2018 and beyond.
