2. Randy Fichtner will be running the Steelers offense

The Pittsburgh offense will finally get to spread their wings without the presence of Todd Haley in 2018, as the team decided to part ways with the veteran offensive mastermind. That means all of the speculation of Haley’s bad relationship with players if finally over, and the Steelers can get back to playing championship-level football.

With Randy Fichtner at the helm moving forward, Pittsburgh has a great opportunity to build off of their impressive 2017 campaign. Fichtner has been the team’s quarterbacks coach for quite some time, so his familiarity with Pittsburgh’s offensive weapons will definitely help him call plays in his first season as offensive coordinator.

Steelers fans were asking for Haley to be fired over the last few seasons, and finally, this offense can move past the drama.

It’s hard to say how this Pittsburgh offense will change under a new offensive coordinator, but fans can rest in the fact this offense will make plays no matter what. With a full offseason of work for Fichtner, and hopefully a new contract for Le’Veon Bell; Pittsburgh’s offense is a real threat to become a juggernaut in 2018.
