Pittsburgh Steelers head coach, Mike Tomlin, has received some harsh criticism over the past year; however, here are 3 reasons why you need to still trust him.

Even though the Pittsburgh Steelers fell short of winning their seventh Lombardi Trophy this season, they still finished the season 13-4, including the AFC Playoffs. Still, Pittsburgh head coach, Mike Tomlin, has been receiving some heat for the way his team responded down the stretch of the season.

Whether it was the end-game disaster against New England or the poundings by Jacksonville twice in one year; Steelers fans have made it clear Tomlin needs to get his leadership cap back on, especially if Pittsburgh wants to play in the big game sometime soon.

While the voices against Tomlin this offseason have definitely been the loudest, I do want to acknowledge the fans who’ve stuck up for their head coach. Trust me, you’re support for Tomlin has not gone unnoticed, as the team’s front-office has also given a public record of their support for the 45-year-old coach in the last week.

With that said, I believe there are many reasons why Steelers fans still need to trust Mike Tomlin moving forward. He may not be perfect, but he has proven that his teams will be competitive and  successful. Take a look at three of those reasons on the following pages.
