The Pittsburgh Steelers were embarrassed in their Week One defeat to the New England Patriots, but if they can improve these areas, wins are on the horizon.

After a devastating Week One loss to the New England Patriots, the Pittsburgh Steelers are looking to rebound in Week Two. Though last week’s loss was tough to watch, the fact is, there is still plenty of football to be played. As long as the Steelers can put last week behind them, there is still plenty of reason to remain optimistic about the season ahead.

The road ahead all starts with this week’s matchup against the Seattle Seahawks. The Steelers will be looking to make a statement, and luckily, Seattle is vulnerable. After struggling to contain the Cincinnati Bengals in Week One, it’s obvious Seattle’s defense is far from the dominant unit they once were. Sure, recent acquisition Jadeveon Clowney is a rare talent, but outside of him and linebacker Bobby Wagner, Seattle’s defense is relatively average. A week after Andy Dalton shredded the Seahawks defense for a league-leading 418 yards, Ben Roethlisberger has to be excited to prove that his Week One effort was an outlier.

Ultimately, the Steelers need to look at Week Two as a must-win matchup. After an offseason in which seemingly everybody decided the Steelers are no longer an AFC contender, this team needs to rebound to prove their doubters wrong. With that in mind, they should be able to pull out a victory as long as they improve some of their more glaring issues from last week.

Without further ado, these are the Pittsburgh Steelers’ three keys to getting a much-needed win in Week Two.
