The Pittsburgh Steelers will take on the Cleveland Browns on Thursday Night in a game that could have major playoff implications, but if the Steelers follow these keys to victory, they should be just fine.

It’s been a whirlwind of a season for the Pittsburgh Steelers so far, but considering all the team has been through, their accomplishments are nothing short of amazing. After a 1-4 start threatened to derail the entire season, Mike Tomlin has rallied his players and the result is a 5-4 record heading into Thursday Night’s matchup against the inconsistent Cleveland Browns. The Steelers have plenty of things to thank for their recent turnaround. Minkah Fitzpatrick has developed into a legitimate Defensive Player of the Year candidate and in the process looks like one of the best trades in Pittsburgh Steelers history. Meanwhile, Tomlin is putting together the best coaching performance of his career as he wills this injury-prone roster to win after win.

With that said, this week’s matchup against the Browns will not be an easy one. Even though Cleveland has disappointed en route to a 3-6 record, this is a tough game given the rivalry and divisional implications. Baker Mayfield is coming off arguably his best performance of the season against a talented Buffalo Bills defense. Not to mention, Kareem Hunt has returned to the field and should be more comfortable in the Browns offense with some game action now under his belt with his new team. Between Hunt and Nick Chubb, the Browns’ rushing offense has some legitimate talent and should challenge the Steelers defense.

It may not be an easy task, but if the Pittsburgh Steelers can come out of this Week 11 game with a win it will prove that this team is a legitimate contender. If the Steelers follow these three keys to victory, Week 11 will be yet another huge moment in a season full of them.
