Cornerback: Cortez Allen vs. William Gay

This is a job that Allen has to not only win, but perform at something close to the level that Keenan Lewis did a season ago before he left as a free agent, signing with the New Orleans Saints during the offseason.
Allen performed very well as the Steelers third corner and the organization hopes that he is the heir apparent for Lewis.
Gay was brought back to add a veteran to the secondary. He will be given an opportunity to win the job, but the Steelers have been down that road before and don’t want that to happen.
There’s a reason why the Arizona Cardinals let Gay go and if it turns out he is the best option, the Steelers could be in trouble.
Prediction: Allen by default
