ATH JaQuan Davidson, Elizabeth Forward High School, Pittsburgh, Pa.

Davidson is a guy I covered a few times during his high school career and let me tell you that he is some kind of athlete.

He is recruited as an athlete capable of playing on both sides of the ball. Davidson is regarded as a two star by Rivals, and a three star by Scout.

While he was a quarterback at EF, that won’t be the case at Pitt as he will likely either find himself in Pitt’s defensive backfield or possibly at wide receiver. Either way he is athletic enough to make plays on both sides of the football if given the opportunity.

Davidson committed to Pitt over West Virginia, Western Michigan and a host of other smaller offers:

DE Shane Roy, Reading Community High School, Cincinnati, Ohio

One thing is for sure and that is Roy is a big body.

Roy stands at 6-foot-4 and weighs 220 pounds and is rated as a three star by Rivals and Scout. He went with Pitt over Boston College, UConn, Illinois and just about the entire MAC.

He is regarded as a very physical player, which is nice as Pitt has shown a commitment to not get pushed around up front on either side of the football:
