Arquimedes Caminero

Arquimedes Caminero is not by any means having a great second season with the Pirates. He has allowed 16 hits and 8 runs over 13.2 innings of work.  Caminero’s ERA has ballooned to 5.27 after posting a 3.62 ERA in 2015.   He is one of the hardest throwers on the team with a fastball averaging 97.57 MPH, even hitting the 100 MPH mark from time to time.  Caminero has control has been wild this season and his pitch placement is erratic, causing him to give some mammoth home runs.  Let’s hope the hard throwing righty settles down as the season moves on.
