Ben Roethlisberger

When you talk about Steelers quarterback position, the most recognizable name is obvious Ben Roethlisberger.  The 2015 season did not go as planned for Big Ben, a year that was hindered by injuries.  Roethlisberger threw 21 touchdowns and had a passer rating of 94.5 passer, but he did throw 16 interceptions.  It was a down season statistically after he posted a 103.3 passer rating and throwing 32 touchdown to only 9 interceptions.

Sure it did not help that he missed time with a left-knee injury, which he called the worst of his career. Roethlisberger has dealt with many injuries in his 13 years.  Steeler fans know he has the toughness to grit it out, keeping it going and leaving it all on the field.

Grade: A-

Being the savvy veteran that he is despite his age, if he stays healthy I would give Roethlisberger an  A- grade.  Health and interceptions are the issue, but he does have the best group of offensive weapons in the league.

That being said, he will be missing his safety blanket in Heath Miller after he retired following 2015.  We will see if Big Ben can have the same connection with Ladarius Green.  Let’s hope he can lead the Steelers back to the Super Bowl
