Landry Jones

Jones has a great shot of leaving training camp as the number two quarterback. Going into his fourth season, his stats may not be the best, but he has shown certain shines of brilliance.  The 27 year old has started only one game in his career, but he is 1-1 after leading the Steelers to victory in relief versus the Cardinals.  Jones put three touchdowns and two interceptions in those games.  He has looked bad at times, but for a younger guy who has only played handful of snaps, there is not much to except.

Grade: C-

Grading wise I give Jones a C-.  He lacks experience and still has the basic growing pains of any young quarterback.  The potential is there to get the grade up, but we will need to see more out of him. Jones has strong arm though his accuracy still needs work as well executing the plays and calling necessary audibles.
