Bruce Gradkowski

Being another veteran on the team, Gradkowski will be a great mentor to have around Landry.  He does not have the greatest career stats, but he has been around awhile after helping four other teams prior to coming to the Steel City.  His two years in Tampa were the best of his career though he does have a win over the Steelers as a member of the Raiders.  Having a 3-8 record is the best, but he is a game manager, the type to fill in when the starter can’t get it done or is injuried.  That makes him a asset to any team with that kind of knowledge and experience on the bench.

Grade: C+

I give Gradkowski a C+ grade.  He can be a game manager when called upon, but only in small doses.

Gradkowski will not put up record breaking numbers and stand out games.  He can  win you games if needed and that is most important in a backup quarterback.
