1. Tomlin’s proven track-record for Steelers

It’s totally understandable for Steelers fan to be upset with how their squad’s 2017 season ended, but again, I caution you not to put the blame solely on the shoulders of Tomlin. Yes, there were some bad in-game decisions that were made throughout the season, but 31 other NFL fanbases are saying that about their head coaches right now.

Needless to say, I think the criticism of Tomlin has been blown out-of-proportion, especially with his proven track record in Pittsburgh.

Just take a look at a few of Tomlin’s successes, courtesy of Pro Football Reference:

  • Currently owns a 116-60 regular season record since becoming Steelers head coach
  • 9 winning seasons in 11 years as Steelers head coach
  • 1x Super Bowl Champion
  • 2x AFC Champion

I get that people aren’t happy with how the last few seasons have turned out, but there are a plethora of franchises in the NFL who’d love that much success over the last eleven years. Trust me, Tomlin is still the guys for the job, Steelers fans.
