    • While his focus is undoubtedly on offense and a spread option system, the teams that have carried him off the field in January have had a rock solid defense. Meyer prefers to let experience play it’s part and let each player earn their shirt, he never shy’s away from letting talent itself elevate the unit on the field.

    The wait and grow philosophy could very well be in play for Hamlin in Columbus. Not to slight his talent, but with a team coming off yet another national championship, it is still loaded with leadership in the defensive backfield, even after the draft.

    Ohio State still has to be considered a savory thought with their tradition, track record of success, and ability to develop high caliber talent.
