1. 2018 NFL Draft Class

In late-April, the Steelers will have the opportunity to grab even more talented rookies from the 2018 NFL Draft class. After what we saw from Pittsburgh’s 2017 class, every Steelers fan should be excited about who the team will bring in next. Even with their 1st Round pick in the latter parts of the first round, I believe there will still be some great players on the board.

Thankfully, there is more than enough defensive talent looking to make a name for themselves in professional football this offseason. For a Steelers defense looking to continue building on their solid 2017 campaign, this news couldn’t come at a better time.

Not to mention, with safeties Sean Davis and Mike Mitchell having up-and-down seasons in 2017, the 2018 NFL Draft could give the team options to slowly work one of those two out of the mix moving forward. Whether you agree with it or not, those two missed far too many tackles this past year to have guaranteed a starting spot next season.

That means Steelers-nation can take a deep breath, and relax at the fact Pittsburgh has numerous options to improve their team in 2018. While their current roster went 13-3 in 2017, any improvement going forward could get this franchise back into the Super Bowl in a very short amount of time.
