2. Steelers 40-17 win over the Titans in Week 11

Thursday night football games in the NFL are always dicey situations, but in this case, the Steelers played incredible against a tremendously tough Tennessee Titans squad. Not to mention, after forcing Marcus Mariota into throwing four interceptions, the former Heisman Trophy winner, more than likely, had nightmares for the next month.

All kidding aside, Pittsburgh showed the football world on this night that they could win, regardless of how well they were able to run the ball. According to ESPN, in the Steelers 23-point blowout, the team only totaled 65 rushing yards. I guess it was a good thing Ben Roethlisberger and Antonio Brown came to dominate.

We all love seeing these two cause chaos for opposing defenses, but Brown’s 144 receiving yards and 3 touchdowns against Tennessee was nothing short of amazing, especially against a Titans secondary which was actually pretty good in 2017.

This win over the Titans gave the Steelers an 8-2 record through 11 weeks and proved their defense could play sound football. However, even as great of a win this was, it wasn’t the team’s best win of 2017.
